In the MOVE Lab, the world of automotive design comes to life. Technology and design become tangible when physical and digital design come together, giving visitors full control over the car of the future.
The perfect car is different for everyone, and you only truly understand the designer's process once you have configured one yourself. The renewed MOVE Lab features two new installations where physical and digital interaction reinforce each other.
After researching physical materials, handheld scanners can be used to capture colors, rims, and headlights from a product wall onto a digital 'moodboard'.
With an intuitive 3D modeling interface, decisions can be made about the body shape, such as an elegant convertible or a practical pick-up truck. Visitors can also save their design and take it home by scanning a QR code.
We used AI as the ultimate "co-creator". Visitors create physical collages of their dream vehicle using various materials.
The scanned design is transformed by an in-house developed AI system into a sleek 2D drawing and a 3D model. The highlight is when your own creation appears in the virtual PON garage and as a personalized advertisement on a digital billboard.
The concepts were developed during creative workshops with the PON team and the target group, involving intensive testing and iteration with various prototypes.
