Digital Dutch Xperience

KPN Headquarters

Request

The KPN Experience centre helps customers to accelerate their digital transformation through programmes centred around technology. It’s important for visitors to know which buttons to press during their journey: people, organisation, and technology. After spending a day at the centre, customers should leave not only inspired, but also knowing where to start working on feasible, tangible solutions.

Solution

Gamification helps visitors understand the important success factors contributing to the digital transformation in a playful way. Three games teach visitors about the war on talent, the organisational flow, and innovation. A projection fills the entire wall and completely immerses visitors in the experience. Thanks to a fully-integrated AV show controller, the three games fit into the programme seamlessly.

What were the deliverables?

  • 3 multi-player games, controlled by X-Box controllers
  • 1 interactive experience on a 12 m² projection screen
  • 1 hour-long programme
  • full integration with the AV show controller

The experience

Upon entering and placing your cup on the table, it immediately becomes clear that this is no ordinary experience. A projection plays around the cup, welcoming visitors and invites them to interact. Once everyone is ready, customers are led to the next space where they are immersed in the future. The projection screen that fills the entire wall leads them through an inspiring film, helps create profiles, and have in-depth conversations.

After a presentation from KPN about the possibilities of technology, guests are invited to get started. Using X-box controllers, they play three different games in groups. In the first game, visitors connect the right employees to the right roles based on their competences. How many can they connect before the work day is over?

The second challenge is all about streamlining processes and agile work. Colourful puzzle pieces symbolise programmes, in which certain routes must be taken from A to B. Flexibility is a must, because programmes can change half-way through! The last game is all about speed: how fast can you make technology available to a futuristic city in typical KPN colours by clicking?

Then it’s time for a quick wrap-up and for to customers leave the experience energised and informed.
